Decorating with Cotton

Today is all about decorating with cottons.

First and foremost, cotton is the safest way to go. If you are overwhelmed with fabric options, going with a medium weight cotton is always the safest thing to do. It is very versatile. And cottons are so inexpensive that they can be changed out regularly if you are like me and your decor changes with your mood :)

Cotton is very crisp and lends order to a room. Check out these Roman Shades all made from cottons.

Premier Prints black and white stripe Flat Roman Shade.

The curtains below are made from 100% cotton. They way it drapes makes the curtains appear very full and heavy adding a warm feeling and setting a warm tone for the room.

Premier Prints Suzani Curtain Panels.
Greek Key Curtain Panels from JWS Interiors.

Yellow and White Premier Prints zig zag curtains for Megan.

Crisp Tablecloths and napkins made from cotton lend order to a dining room. Cotton fabrics are the best for printing. The patterns printed on cotton come out clean and even. Cotton doesn't move, drape and flow the way linen does. So the patterns on cottons remain straight in the case of stripes.

This cotton table runner from decorate23 is a perfect example of a clean and clear pattern print.
