Annual Clearance Sale Sneak Peaks

I hope those who joined in our "I'm busier than. . . " fun on Facebook yesterday enjoy your $10 off coupons to use in the clearance sale :)

I was thinking about it and we shouldn't really call this a "clearance" sale. It is a clearance sale in that I am trying to free up some space to handle our holiday work load. But it is not clearance in that these are items that have been sitting our shop unsold. (Well, some are. . . .). We are going to be using this sale as an experiment of sorts to gather information from our buyers on future plans for expansion in the business. So you can expect to find great pieces in designer fabrics at great prices.

Because we are going to be gathering information from this sale we are going to be doing the sale on the blog. You will need to contact me via email to purchase an item. Don't worry, we are not adding you to a mailing list, etc. I have the blog for you to follow so you can keep up with us. I have no reason to send out emails, etc. The sale will be a first come first served basis. We are going to note the amount of emails/interest in certain items based on how many inquiries there are for the item.

So if you're wondering how we can sell items made from Windsor Smith Riad or Kelly Wearstler's Imperial Trellis, Robert Allen's Cats Cradle or Braemore's Secret Gate at such low prices, just consider it our thanks to you for participating in our experiment. And also, just a general thanks for considering us for your home decorating purposes. We would be nothing without our clients and we appreciate you.

With this information we will be gathering, we hope to offer you more of you want and have it ready and available on hand.

Here's a little of what you can expect to see. . .

We will have pillow covers in a variety of sizes and shapes in designer fabrics starting at $5.00 per cover for Premier Prints designs and up to $20.00 for other designer brands such as Windsor Smith.

We have a set of gray and white horizontal stripe curtains HALF WIDTH (25" wide each panel) 84" long, lined with drapery lining.

Tea Towel sets for $5.00.

 

AND new designs we hope to add to our shop!! The image above is a set of 16" round pillows with a 2" gusset and welting. They come finished with the pillow inserts. We would like to know if there are people out there who are overwhelmed by the process of shopping for home décor items and would like to just order an item and have it arrive ready to use as opposed to ordering a cover and having to purchase an insert yourself. I would love your feedback here in the comments if you have any on the subject.

It's about that time of year again! Our busiest season is just before the holidays as everyone is getting their homes ready to entertain visitors. To accommodate the work load we like to clean this place out just before busy season.

 

This year our sale begins on Saturday September 14th. It will be a first come first served basis. I will start the sale at midnight. I haven't decided if it will be here on my blog or if I will put it in the clearance section of the website. Stay tuned for those details. I will update every Friday before the event with details and "sneak peaks."

Here are the policies:

 

1) First come, first served basis.

 

2) Payment will be made by paypal invoice (If you do not have a paypal we can add a personal listing for you in our etsy shop for an additional processing fee).

 

3) All Clearance sales are final. No refunds, no returns.

 

4) If your paypal invoice (or etsy listing) is not paid for in 24 hours from the time it is sent to your email address, the item will go to the next person in line.

 

5) Shipping prices will be stated with the item and is for the individual item. If multiple items are purchased, shipping will be adjusted accordingly.

 

6) Alterations can be made to Roman Shades, Curtains or Valances for a fee and additional processing time. They can only be made to a measurement smaller than what they currently are.

 

7) Note, all pillow covers are sold WITHOUT inserts unless it specifies "Sold With Insert," which is only the case with round pillows.

 Items posted here are either returns because they didn't fit right because of incorrect measuring, wrong lining, etc. We also will be using this section to show our "prototypes" to see what people are interested in. The items will be the first trial items in a new product line. All items are new and functional. Any flaws will be noted.

Yellow Chipper Premier Prints shade

This shade measures 35" wide by 46" long. It has a right pull cord and is lined in blackout. It is made from Yellow and White Premier Prints Chipper. It is lined in blackout.

I did not end up sending this out after I sewed the Velcro on. The needle pulled up some of the blackout onto the top of the fabric. If you click on the image you can see a closer view. It's not a huge deal and isn't very noticable, as you can see from the image. But if you look up close you can see it.

Robert Allen Maize Scene in Taupe

 ONE flat roman shade is Robert Allen Maize Scene Taupe measures 42.5" wide by 46" long with Right pull cord.

*Reason for return: dark top stitch thread color. I was hesitant to put these in the clearance sale because I was worried that current or future customers might be concerned that this will happen to their shades. So I wanted to add this disclaimer. This was an unfortunate error in judgement on part of our seamstress. She is no longer with us. However, her work is outstanding and while the top stitch thread color may be slightly darker than the fabric the overall construction of the shade is stellar. Though there was a misjudgment of color in these shades, her work would be a great addition to anyone's home. Close view of thread on fabric in picture on left.
